The project
TiMarmo Gioielli was born from the idea of enhancing the precious Carrara marble in each of its fragments.
Marble has always been used for statues, works of art, objects with a modern design or for ornamental purposes, but any processing it undergoes necessarily entails that some of its parts, fragments, splinters, cylinders, slabs that break, become waste. This is exactly where I intervene who, in a circular economy project, recover the fragments deriving from the processes carried out in the artistic studios and laboratories of Carrara to create unique jewels, small marble sculptures to wear, all different from each other, which I accompany with processing certification craftsmanship and provenance.
Attention to the environment is also maintained in the packaging as each jewel is kept in casket boxes with FSC certification which can be reused entirely inserted in the paper collection, and in the case of the bow reused at your convenience.
Every little detail has been studied to make this project truly eco-friendly, with a commitment to constantly improve the standards I have set for myself.
About me
I am Tiziana, an artisan with a passion for manual work since I was 12 when an elderly lady put crochet in my hand. From that moment on I learned embroidery, creation of patterns and sewing, jewelery techniques, micromacram è they are my passion, all for the most part always self-taught. Among the various interests I have always found time to work the marble with some old chisel with which an object took shape on the terrace of the house. Later I started to create small things, female busts of a few centimeters and abstract shapes.Mario Fruendi, great sculptor from Carrara, is the person to whom I have always referred since I have had over the years the need for comparisons and indications and thanks also to his availability and precious experience that I come to give life to TiMarmo gioielli, a project through which I enhance even the smallest fragment of Carrara marble making it a jewel or light, bright and able to get noticed for its uniqueness. In fact, no jewel I produce will be the same as another.
